Poetry

UNFULFILLED

Desire burns within me,
A fire that never dies,
I try to quench it,
But it only multiplies.

I crave for satisfaction,
But it always eludes me,
I seek it in the flesh,
But true fulfillment,
I cannot see.

I am a slave to my lust,
Trapped in a cycle of need,
I fear I will never find peace,
And my addiction will always lead.

I long for something more,
A deeper connection, a higher love,
But for now, I am lost,
In a sea of confusion and lust.

Oh, how I yearn to be free,
From this prison of my own making,
To find true joy and fulfillment,
And leave behind this soul-shaking.
