NGWANA’MSETSANA

This week we are shining the spotlight on the all new Ubuntu Band. Ubuntu Band is a trio of exceptionally talented young musicians with an afrobeat infrared sound and rhythmically driven tribal sounds. With their newly released song ‘NGWANAMSETSANA ‘, we are sitting at the edge of our seats to find out what more incredible sounds are coming up.

‘Ngwana Msetsana’ which translates to ‘A girl child’ is an afrocentric song that encourages the girl child and celebrates the girl child. The recently released hit is performed by Thami, Gavin and Maney; and was directed by Botswana’s very own immensely talented DirectorMo. The african instrumental and acapella sounds make it so fresh and very distinctive. The song speaks of how much a girl child is loved and how much they bring warmth and positivity to life and to one day build a family altogether. It is very catchy, relatable and fresh. Ubuntu Band and Director Mo have truly given us something to dance to.

This song is dedicated Ngwana wa Mosetsana. Girl child find your worth and add tax because you deserve all the best things the world has to offer.Ngwana Msetsana- Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful and remember, the world is what you make it.
