BESIDES BEING GIFTED, LONELINESS INSPIRED ME TO WRITE
We are fortunate enough to be writing about Mzansi Author and Media Award nominated best Author. Meet one of our Africa very own Author, Kwanele Marcia Ndlovu.
Kwanele She is a 20 years old young writer born in KZN, New Castle. Beside being an author, Ndlovu is a second year student at the University of Freestate (Bloemfontein Campus) persuing a career in Bachelor of Education. She is a good hearted individual who is always inclined to help and understand others. Kwanele is a multitalented soul, she is a writer, poet, actress and a storyteller. “I am a very sensitive and a weird person ,” she explained.
She unwrapped her story and explained her journey into poetry and writing. Kwanele discovers writing as her coping mechanism. “I don’t know how to Express myself out loud, I just cry and write everything down,” she revealed.
Ndlovu said that she fell in love with poetry a while after discovering her love for writing. “I know how good I am in formulating scenarios that don’t really exist and makes them looks real,” kwanele explained. “Loneliness inspired me to keep writing in a different way. I always manage to understand others through writing.” She further illustrated that, writing heals her heart in any ways, and writing makes her feel alive. “For me it will forever be the only powerful form of communication. I find solance in writing.”
Just like any other individuals who encounter challenges in their success journey, Kwanele also had so far encountered challenges. ” Failing to raise enought money in time for publication and books distrubitation was one of my greatest challenges,” she said. Her second published book titled “Bruices of love” had scored her a nomination to compete for MAMA Award. Ndlovu is asking for support and votes to win the Award.
