DR. BRYAN KEITSEMANG APPOINTED LECTURER OF CREATIVE WRITING AT CAVES ACADEMY
Caves Academy’s Press Statement reads:
We couldn’t be more pleased to partner with the celebrated writer Dr Bryan Keitsemang to launch our Creative Writing Program. This is Dr. Keitsemang’s distinguished writing class for aspiring writers, courtesy of Caves Academy.
The accomplished writer joins Caves Academy as the program’s Founding Director and Lecturer.
The goal is to teach writers to be better crafters who are innovative enough to change the world through talent. Dr. Keitsemang is an inspiration to our students and to youths in Africa and around the world. Through his art, he not only entertains but starts conversations that educate and open minds and hearts. This corresponds with Caves Academy’s mission to engage and inspire young people through education.
Dr. Keitsemang studied Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Botswana and is ennobled for his leadership in the public and literary spaces. He has delivered guest lectures at prestigious universities like Sweden’s Royal Institute of Art and University of Rajasthan, among many. His novel, The Life I Buried won the Prestigious American Alcra International Prize for Literature 2022.
The Creative Writing Program is strictly for those who apply and have been accepted. Caves Academy calls for applications from aspiring writers not younger than the age of 14.
