AUSTIN MAGAGA: STARTING CAVES ACADEMY ON A HIGH NOTE
Affectionately dubbed “Professor Caves” by his students, Austin Magaga is the founder of Caves Academy, a fully registered and accredited training institution.
Magaga started Caves Academy to build brilliance in the youth through an independent and contemporary educational model. Started from humble beginnings, Caves Academy came into operation as a tutorial centre offering tutorial services for tertiary students. With dedicated tutors and results that showed the Academy’s massive potential, Magaga was inspired to register it as a training institution under his Holdings company, True Lime (PTY) Ltd.
Today the Academy operates in two divisions. They still offer tutorial services to their proud clients, but they also offer their own registered qualifications.
Caves Academy is in partnership with decorated author and publisher Dr. Bryan Keitsemang, to offer their Creative Writing Program. The program teaches writers to be better storytellers that can change the world with art. It’s open to any writer not younger than the age of fourteen. Students leave the program with enough material ready for publication.
The Academy’s board, chaired by Magaga, is made of visionary young minds and is guided by established academics. They all work tirelessly to develop distinctive programs that’ll open up many career and educational opportunities for students.
The training institution strives to be the Academy of choice for corporate and individuals who want to cultivate independent thinking and creative expression through liberal arts and sciences. Their headquarters is in Gaborone.
